About Çağlar Doğan
Antalya-based creative director, commercial and fashion photographer, and film director. Founder of El Chedo Production. I build visual worlds for hotels, fashion and lifestyle brands, from concept to delivery.
I have spent 17+ years behind the camera. I started in fashion, editorial, hotel and lifestyle work, and in recent years combined that experience with cinematic commercials and brand films. Today I treat photography and film as two forms of the same visual language.
I am the founder of El Chedo Production, my creative production company. Concept development, art direction, casting, shooting and post production are handled under one roof. My solo-filmmaker structure keeps the decision chain short: the same person directs the set, operates the camera and grades the colour.
I work across a wide range, from luxury and boutique hotels to fashion and jewellery brands, restaurants and personal brands. Based in Antalya, I shoot across Turkey and internationally, and act as a local production partner for foreign brands shooting around Antalya.
Creative approach
My work is not sterile; it is harder, more real, with attitude. I am after a visual language with character, not a pastel surface. I call it 'rebellious luxury': a brand that knows its own voice and imitates no one.
I do not flirt with light; I build it. I find the frame on set, and I use a brief as a trampoline rather than a prison, something another film can come out of.
For me the point is not to take a frame or deliver a project, but to build a world with an idea, a soul and a character of its own.

Where I work
My base and main studio are in Antalya. Belek, Kemer, Side, Alanya, Kaş and Kalkan are regular working areas; I also produce across Turkey, especially Istanbul, and on international sets.
